    Get PDF
In this work, we have investigated the exchange interaction of two electrons in double lateral quantum dot (which is the base of quantum gate) under effect of external magnetic field, electric field and inter dot distance between double dots. From similarity between double quantum dots and molecule, we have used molecular physics approaches (Hitler London and Hund Mullikan approximation method) to investigate our system. We also show the magnetization behavior as function of magnetic field

Riemann boundary value problems in generalized weighted hardy spaces

    Get PDF
Riemann boundary value problem of analytic function theory in weighted Hardy classes with variable summability index is considered in this work. The Fredholmness of this problem is investigated under certain conditions on coefficients and a weight. The general solution for homogeneous problem is obtained in weighted Hardy classes with variable summability index. In the case where the weight function satisfies the Muckenhoupt condition with variable summability index, the solvability of the non-homogeneous Riemann problem with the right side from the generalized weighted Lebesgue space is studied

This thesis discusses the problem-Sociological Analysis of the Juridical Authority Against Civil Servant Investigators Plantation And Civil Servant Investigators Environment In Case of Burning plantation in Kubu Raya. One of solution offered in this paper is : to find out the foundation of law to be proposed as prosecution reason for criminal matter leading to pollution and degradation the gradation of life environment. Once the reason of law prosecution known, it should be then known which PPNS to have the authority in making the investigation for those criminal matter. The solution is to apply the Law No. 32/2009 regarding Management of Life Environment, thus the authorizing PPNS for investigation should be PPNS of Live Environment. This research is based on normative juridical research supported by library research, primary data, secondary and tertiary data. The result of research indicates that the similarity of attitudes and characteristics of criminal mater mentioned above than more toward the problem of life environment, thus there should be the certainity in prosecution basis application for the criminal matters. This certainity will be to realize the law enforcement and authority of the investigators. Because as consequence, if PPNS in fact those not have the authority to make the investigation for criminal matter of life environment, all set of investigation activities and all investigation Official news issued, will become invalid. It is also suggested; in presence of claim between PPNS of estate and PPNS of life Environment for authority of investigation, police can take the role to decide which PPNS is to act as investigator, and if one of the PPNS is not satisfied whit the decision, then Police investigator can be reached through constitution of Court in basis of claim for authority conflict between government institutions

The proliferation of the Internet and its applications has led to a potential increase in users' requests for more services at economical prices and Quality of service. The diversity of Internet traffic requires some prioritization and prioritization because some visits deserve great attention while reducing delays and packet losses compared to others. Current swap scheduling mechanisms are characterized by three main characteristics: fairness, complexity, and protection. Therefore, the question remains how we can provide equity and protection with less complex implementation. In this paper present proposed scheduling mechanism to enhance the performance of computer network. Proposed method is utilize an adaptive neural fuzzy inference system in make schedule decision and adapted to handle with varying behaviors of network. It is programmed in object oriented programming C++ with OMNET++ environment. The proposed method ANFIS solving the problem of complexity run time for WFQ algorithm. It uses ANFIS to calculate the virtual finish time for packets instead of mathematically way in the ordinary WFQ. The main contributions of this paper are minimizing the delay, reduce the packet loss in routers service queue and increasing throughput. In order to enhance the performance of computer network

Resonance Phenomenon Related to Spectral Singularities, Complex Barrier Potential, and Resonating Waveguides

A peculiar property of complex scattering potentials is the appearance of spectral singularities. These are energy eigenvalues for certain scattering states that similarly to resonance states have infinite reflection and transmission coefficients. This property reveals an interesting resonance effect with possible applications in waveguide physics. We study the spectral singularities of a complex barrier potential and explore their application in designing a waveguide that functions as a resonator. We show that for the easily accessible sizes of the waveguide and its gain region, we can realize the spectral singularity-related resonance phenomenon at almost every wavelength within the visible spectrum or outside it.Comment: Published version, 20 pages, 2 tables, 7 figure

All synthesised compounds are characterized by its melting points, FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and Mass spectral analysis. All synthesised compounds are examined their antimicrobial activities against Gram-Ve bactria (Serratia marcescens, Pseudmonas aeroginosa) and Gram+Ve bacterial (Stphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes), and Candida albicans fungi. Result showed good to moderate inhibition effect against some bacteria and fungi, in comparison with some pharmaceutical antibiotic and antifungal treatments like Cephalexin, Amoxicillin, Tetracycline, Lincomycine, Nystatine and Fluconazole respectively

Quality of Service Provisioning for Heterogeneous Services in Cognitive Radio-enabled Internet of Things

IEEE The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of interconnected objects, in which every object in the world seeks to communicate and exchange information actively. This exponential growth of interconnected objects increases the demand for wireless spectrum. However, providing wireless channel access to every communicating object while ensuring its guaranteed quality of service (QoS) requirements is challenging and has not yet been explored, especially for IoT-enabled mission-critical applications and services. Meanwhile, Cognitive Radio-enabled Internet of Things (CR-IoT) is an emerging field that is considered the future of IoT. The combination of CR technology and IoT can better handle the increasing demands of various applications such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, environment, public safety, healthcare, food, and drugs. However, due to the limited and dynamic resource availability, CR-IoT cannot accommodate all types of users. In this paper, we first examine the availability of a licensed channel on the basis of its primary users' activities (e.g., traffic patterns). Second, we propose a priority-based secondary user (SU) call admission and channel allocation scheme, which is further based on a priority-based dynamic channel reservation scheme. The objective of our study is to reduce the blocking probability of higher-priority SU calls while maintaining a sufficient level of channel utilization. The arrival rates of SU calls of all priority classes are estimated using a Markov chain model, and further channels for each priority class are reserved based on this analysis. We compare the performance of the proposed scheme with the greedy non-priority and fair proportion schemes in terms of the SU call-blocking probability, SU call-dropping probability, channel utilization, and throughput. Numerical results show that the proposed priority scheme outperforms the greedy non-priority and fair proportion schemes

Localizing introgression on the chromosome of rice by genomic in situ hybridization (GISH)

    Get PDF
Genomic in situ hybridization was used to detect introgressed segment from Oryza australinesis onto the chromosomes of introgression line derived from the hybrid O. sativa x O. australinesis. Genomic DNA from Oryza australinesis was labeled with biotin and hybridized to the homologous sequences on the O. sativa chromosomes. The probe hybridization fluoresced green and non labeled O. sativa chromosomes appeared red or blue due to counterstaining with propidium iodide (PI) or 4,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI). This differential painting of chromosomes unequivocally detected the introgressedsegment. Among the 200 cells analyzed, 6.5% of the cells showed  hybridization signal. Signal appeared on one chromosome in 5%, on two homologous chromosomes in 1% and on sister chromatids in 0.5%of the cells. Hybridization was seen on the short arm of the chromosome 12 of the introgression line

BACKGROUND: Health related quality of life (HRQOL) is an important outcome after treatment for upper gastrointestinal carcinoma. This study aimed to compare HRQOL in patients with advanced gastric cancer (GC) receiving either a standard or an experimental treatment. METHODS: Seventy-one patients have been treated in Cancer Institute (Tehran, Iran) with docetaxel, cisplatin, 5 FU (TCF) or epirubicin, cisplatin, 5-FU (ECF) and were followed from Jan 2002 to Jan 2005. End points were response rate, HRQOL and survival. HRQOL was assessed using the EORCT QLQ-C30 at baseline and after the third cycle of chemotherapy. RESULTS: The baseline HRQOL scores were comparable between two groups. After treatment improvement was seen in a number of items and domains except for cognitive functioning, and diarrhoea. Pain decreased and physical functioning improved in both groups. However, only the TCF group showed statistically and clinically meaningful improvement in global QOL (P = 0.001). Surgical and pathologic response was better with TCF but there was no difference in survival rate between two groups. CONCLUSION: Docetaxel based treatment (TCF) showed better palliation and improvement of global QOL as compared with epirubicin based treatment (ECF). However, it seems that regardless of treatment offered, effective chemotherapy was the most important factor affecting QOL in these patients
